Brown Rudnick Summer Fellowship at Lawyers for Civil Rights

Lawyers for Civil Rights (LCR) is currently accepting applications for the 2023 Brown Rudnick Civil Rights Summer Fellowship. The Fellowship is funded through a generous gift by Brown Rudnick LLP of legal fees awarded as part of the settlement of a landmark voting rights case brought by the firm and LCR on behalf of Black and Latinx voters in Worcester, MA.

Law students selected as Brown Rudnick Civil Rights Summer Fellows will learn from civil rights attorneys at LCR, work with community groups, and develop advocacy skills that will serve as a foundation for careers in public interest law.

Fellows will receive a $10,000 stipend for participating in LCR’s 10-week summer program.

The Fellowship is designed for law students who are interested in pursuing a summer internship with LCR, but would otherwise be unable to do so due to financial constraints. To apply, please send a cover letter and resume to employment@lawyersforcivilrights.org. The cover letter should describe the candidate’s background and experience, as well as why fellowship funding is needed.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.  Decisions are expected by March 1, 2023.
