DEI In Massachusetts Public Schools: A Legal And Practical Guide

Education, Racial Justice

As the school year gets underway, Lawyers for Civil Rights (LCR) is receiving many inquiries about how best to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in public schools.  Those who support DEI — school administrators, school boards, teachers, community advocates, parents, and students — want a better understanding of the rapidly-evolving legal landscape. They all need practical advice to help foster a safe educational environment for all students. In response to this growing need, we have created:

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in Massachusetts Public Schools: A Legal and Practical Guide

This new guide provides practical advice for furthering DEI in schools. Check out the guide’s “Frequently Asked Questions” section.
