Legal Clinic with East Boston Neighborhood Business Institute

The Economic Justice Project was excited to partner with WilmerHale and the East Boston Neighborhood Business Institute on Wednesday, March 25 for a business legal clinic. A business legal clinic is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to speak one-on-one with an attorney about their discrete, business legal issues.

There were 7 entrepreneurs receiving assistance on a range of issues, from real estate, intellectual property, contracts, and choice of entity. The East Boston Small Business Institute is a yearlong course that provides in-depth teaching on business basics, such as insurance, finance, marketing, and licensing. A course that provides the spectrum of entrepreneurial counseling like this, is invaluable to its’ participants. We look forward to working with the East Boston Small Business Institute in the future.
