Honoring A “Foot Soldier” of the Civil Rights Movement

Awarded the prestigious Gary Bellow Public Service Award, for making Harvard Law School students “proud to be members of the law school community, Laura Maslow-Armand continues to make an impact through the Medical-Legal Partnership at the Massachusetts General Hospital Healthcare Center in Chelsea. In 2003, Laura began this partnership between the the Lawyers’ Committee and MGH in Chelsea to provide wrap around services to countless patients at the center on issues ranging from housing, disability benefits, and naturalization. Laura is tireless in her efforts to meet the needs of her clients and we are excited to celebrate her as a recipient of this award.
