Challenge Fund Will Match New and Increased Donations

The Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Economic Justice promotes equal opportunity and fights against discrimination. We protect the rights of people of color and immigrants using creative and courageous legal action, education, and advocacy in collaboration with law firms and community partners.

Over the past year, our staff has grown by 33%. Our legal warriors are filing more cutting-edge cases, expanding our network of community partners, and helping even more small businesses in minority and low-income communities.

To amplify your support for our courageous and creative civil rights work, the Lawyers’ Committee’s Board of Directors has launched a Challenge Fund, which will match donations from new donors and increased donations from existing donors — dollar for dollar — until the Fund has been exhausted.

Your support will help us to provide free legal services to individuals and small businesses in low-income communities.
