Community Outreach and Organizing Manager

Marly Frederique joined Lawyers for Civil Rights (LCR) in 2025. As the Community Outreach and Organizing Manager, she leads LCR’s community engagement and legal education initiatives to expand access to legal resources.

Marly facilitates educational advocacy initiatives, including know-your-rights trainings, workshops, and legal clinics to help individuals and families better understand and assert their rights. She works closely with LCR’s legal team to ensure that community voices inform the organization’s litigation, advocacy, and policy priorities. Her work centers on coalition-building with community-based organizations across grassroots, education, cultural, and civic spaces to expand access to justice.

Prior to joining LCR, Marly worked as an educator in Fall River Public Schools and previously served as a Senior Organizer with the Boston Tenant Coalition. She earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and is proficient in French and fluent in Haitian Creole.
