Staff Attorney

Brooke Simone joined Lawyers for Civil Rights (LCR) in 2025. As a Staff Attorney, she represents clients across a wide range of civil rights cases, including voting, immigrant rights, and education matters.

Brooke is co-counsel in Greater Boston Latino Network v. Noem, LCR’s groundbreaking federal lawsuit challenging ICE’s warrantless home invasions. She also brought claims under the Federal Tort Claims Act on behalf of low-wage immigrant car wash workers following a highly-publicized ICE raid in Allston-Brighton. Brooke recently settled a case against the Commonwealth of Massachusetts concerning jail-based voting reporting requirements.

Prior to joining LCR, Brooke clerked for Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, and for Judge Roger L. Gregory in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Brooke earned her B.S. cum laude from Georgetown University and J.D. cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School, where she was Book Review Editor for the Michigan Law Review.
