On June 10, 2014, the Lawyers’ Committee celebrated our 46th Annual Reception at the Boston College Club. This year Dr. Evelynn M. Hammond, Director of Harvard’s Program for the Study of Race and Gender in Science and Medicine received the the Lawyers’ Committee’s Founders Award. The well attended event included a special recognition for former Board Co-Chair Daniel J. Gleason and our Civil Rights Pro Bono Award Recipients: Kathleen Brill–Foley Hoag, William Collins–Goodwin Procter, Kevin J. Conroy–Foley Hoag, Alexander Lazar–Latham &Watkins, Bryan MacDonald–Ropes and Gray, and Emily Taylor–Latham & Watkins.
