Volunteer for Election Protection

Voting Rights

Election Protection is the nation’s largest non-partisan voter protection coalition. We aim to ensure that all eligible Americans have the ability to cast a meaningful ballot and have their vote counted. We have a national voter hotline (866-OUR-VOTE), available in English, Spanish and several Asian languages. We also have an Election Day field program that provides “on the ground” assistance and guidance with the voting process.Massachusetts Election Protection is led by the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Economic Justice. Our comprehensive field program is staffed by pro bono attorneys, community advocates, non-partisan organizations, students and other allies. Prior to Election Day, we will provide training so that volunteers are well-equipped to spot common voting problems and to guide voters through the voting process.

We need your help! Volunteers serve a crucial role in preventing and resolving issues that would otherwise bar eligible Americans access to the ballot box. Join us in defending and expanding the right to vote.

Massachusetts Election Protection is a collaborative effort of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Economic Justice, MassVote, Common Cause, the ACLU of Massachusetts, the Anti-Defamation League, and the League of Women Voters of Massachusetts. Nationally, Election Protection is led by the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.
