Lawyers for Civil Rights Protects the Right to Vote Across New England

“Election Protection” Efforts Underway

Lawyers for Civil Rights (LCR) is spearheading non-partisan Election Protection efforts in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Together with our community partners, we are ensuring that all eligible voters have the information and resources necessary to cast a meaningful ballot.

Lawyers for Civil Rights has more than 1000 volunteers who are being trained through our non-partisan Election Protection campaign. These volunteers will be deployed as poll monitors and observers across dozens of polling sites in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. On the ground, they will report broken machines, long lines, incidents of racial harassment, and other trends, patterns, and irregularities. Together, we are working tirelessly to protect voters and ensure equal access to the ballot box.
The following upcoming election protection trainings are open to reporters and the general public:

On a parallel track, LCR also stands ready to assist voters across New England through our toll-free Election Protection hotline, 866-OUR-VOTE

Through Election Day, any voter with questions or concerns can call for live support and technical assistance. For help in languages other than English, voters can call: 888-VE-Y-VOTA (Spanish); 888-API-VOTE (Asian languages); or 844-YALLA-US (Arabic).

On Election Day, LCR will be running Election Protection call centers in Massachusetts and New Hampshireto support voters with timely and accurate voting assistance. LCR will be working as long as polls are open to identify issues on the ground and respond in real-time.
