Nationwide Injunction Against the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA)

Good news!  A federal court in Texas just issued a preliminary injunction against the CTA (see article here).  The injunction applies nationwide which means that MA small businesses who have not already filled out their BOI no longer need to meet the end of year deadline. This ruling is preliminary, which means it could change in the future or be overturned on appeal. But for now, the federal government is prohibited by court order from enforcing the CTA.
