Connecting with Hyde Park & West Roxbury Business Owners

Economic Justice

Last Thursday, March 19, the Economic Justice Project partnered with Foley Hoag, Hyde Park Main Streets, and West Roxbury Main Streets to provide a business legal workshop on entity formation. The workshop was led by Amanda Vendig and Patrick Connolly and attended by several small business owners, including a optical store owner, a shoe repair store owner, and a Spanish educational tutor. In addition to the small business owners in attendance, there were other service providers seeking more information for their clients. The workshop covered a range of issues related to entity formation, including liabilities, tax implications, and general formation considerations. Small business owners were able to ask questions related to their specific businesses and received meaningful educational information from the attorneys at Foley Hoag. The Economic Justice Project is excited to continue connecting with small businesses throughout Boston’s communities.
