Civil Rights Fellow

Sara L. Wilson joined LCR as the 2021 Ropes & Gray Justice Fellow. At LCR, Wilson handles a broad range of litigation with an emphasis on education and voting rights. Prior to joining LCR, Wilson was an attorney for the U.S. Department of Education. A graduate of Suffolk University Law School, Wilson served as a Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project Fellow and as a student public defender for the Suffolk Defenders Clinic. Wilson also served as the Chief Content Editor for the Journal of Health Biomedical Law and as a legal intern with the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. In 2019, she was recognized in the Supreme Judicial Court’s Pro Bono Honor Roll. A first-generation college student, Wilson received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University – Bloomington.
