LGBT People of Color Experience Discrimination, Exclusion and Violence

Karen Holmes Ward of Channel 5 WCVB’s “CityLine” dedicated her Sunday, September 11, 2016 program to exploring the vulnerability experienced by LGBT people of color as members of two minority groups. As part of this program, our executive director Ivan Espinoza-Madrigal tackled the heightened forms of discrimination, exclusion, and violence experienced by LGBT people of color.
