Immigration raid tips:
1) Your home is your castle. You do not have to open the door unless ICE officers have a judicial warrant. To be clear, an administrative or immigration warrant is not sufficient.
2) You have the right to see the judicial warrant. Ask the ICE officers to pass the judicial warrant under the door or to show it to you through a window.
3) You have the right to remain silent. You also have the right to speak to an attorney, and to contact your consulate.
4) If you encounter an immigration or law enforcement official on the street and you get stopped, you can respectfully decline to answer questions, and you can ask: “Am I free to go?”
5) If you experience or witness immigration enforcement, you can document what happened (everything you see and hear). This can help flag constitutional violations.

1) Tu casa es tu castillo. No tiene que abrir la puerta a menos que los oficiales de ICE tengan una orden judicial. Para ser claros, una orden administrativa o de inmigración no es suficiente.
2) Usted tiene el derecho de ver la orden judicial. Pídale a los oficiales de ICE que pasen la orden judicial debajo de la puerta o que se la muestren a través de una ventana.
3) Usted tiene el derecho de permanecer en silencio. También tiene el derecho de hablar con un abogado y con su consulado.
