Lawyering Across Identities: The Intersection of Latinx and LGBT Rights

On Tuesday, October 25th from 6-8 PM, our Executive Director, Iván Espinoza-Madrigal, will be giving the “Latinos in the Law” lecture at NYU Law School. Last year’s speaker was Judge Jenny Rivera of the New York Court of Appeals, the state’s highest court, and the speaker the previous year was Thomas Saenz, the President and General Counsel of MALDEF.  

Iván‘s lecture, titled “Lawyering Across Identities: The Intersection of Latinx and LGBT Rights,” will tackle the connection between racial justice, immigrants’ rights, and LGBT/HIV equality.
